Our COVID-19 Protocol for HVAC Visits
At Tassio Temperature Control, we are committed to helping keep everyone safe and well during our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) visits. To accomplish our goal, we follow and enforce the COVID-19 recommendations from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

 

These are our team priorities:

Monitoring
We are all continuously monitoring ourselves for symptoms of illness at Tassio Temperature Control. If anyone exhibits any symptoms or just plain does not feel well—from our technicians to our office team—that person will stay home and self-quarantine.

Protecting
We require our team members to wear masks and booties at all times while we are in your home.

Hand washing
We require our team members to thoroughly wash their hands before and after each customer HVAC visit.

Disinfecting
We require our team members to wear fresh gloves at each customer HVAC visit. All our team members carry and repeatedly use hand sanitizer.

Distancing
We require our team members to social distance at least 6 feet from our customers. This means we will not be shaking hands for a while.

Maintain your system
You need to keep your heating and cooling system in optimum condition. This means you need a maintenance visit from our Tassio Temperature Control professionals. We will inspect, clean, and tune up your HVAC system and identify anything that seems amiss, possibly causing a future problem. Take advantage of this time at home and help keep your system running smoothly for years to come.

Change your filter
Your filter is one of the heroes of your HVAC system, helping to stop particles and germs before they blow through the rest of your system and your home. Dirty filters can’t halt these pollutants and cause your system to work harder and inefficiently. With all the additional activity in your home right now, it is essential to keep your filter clean. Don’t wait for online delivery—we are well stocked with air filters of all sizes.

Clean your indoor air
To help keep you breathing clean air inside your home, you want extra protection to aid in fighting off germs and viruses too small for your filter to capture. We carry Lennox Healthy Climate products—from air purifiers to air cleaners to ultraviolet (UV) germicidal lights. Whatever indoor air quality need you may have in these times, we can help you address it. We have something for everyone.

Replace your system
Spending more time at home during the weekdays is causing your HVAC system to work longer and harder for you. In most cases, this translates to ever-rising energy bills, especially if your system is a little older. Now could be the best time to invest in a newer, high-efficiency model. Your home will be more comfortable for less money.

And if you have an older air conditioner that uses Freon®, also known as R-22 refrigerant, you might want to upgrade sooner rather than later. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has phased out R-22, with it no longer in production. Talk to us about financing if this is a concern for you.
