Accessory of the Month – Secondary Condensate Switch

Condensate overflow prevention devices or float switches as they are often called are devices that are installed in the primary and secondary drain pan of your HVAC system. Float switch products detect clogged air conditioner condensate drains and shut off the system, preventing water damage to floors, walls and ceilings. When the primary drain overfills it begins leaking into the secondary pan below, and a float switch will automatically turn off the system in the event that there is an overflow in the drain pan.
